Have you ever wondered if you could make money doing voiceovers on the side?  In this course, I’ll walk you through everything I’ve learned over the past 25 years on how to train your voice, set up your home studio, and grow a thriving side-business of happy return-clients. You’ll learn about genres and styles, and I’ll teach you how to control your tone and pacing. I’ll give you tips on how to find scripts, and you’ll practice vocal exercises with me and learn how to enunciate and emphasize. You’ll experiment with using parts of your mouth and even your body to create character voices. You’ll learn what producers and clients are looking for and how to meet their expectations.  You’ll learn the equipment you need to set up your own home studio, along with tips for creating your demo reel. You’ll start putting together the information you need to set up your profile page, and I’ll share advice on how to get some initial experience in the business. And if you’re a Christian, I’ll give you some tips in an extra pdf to get jobs with companies who are aligned with your values. 1 – Introduction
In this brief video, I explain the agenda for the course and what you can expect to learn.  I've been a voiceover artist for over 2 decades, and I believe that no matter what kind of voice you have, you can train it so that you, too, can be a Voiceover Artist!

2 – Learn About Genres
In this lecture, you'll start thinking about all the different ways voiceover is used today.  Which genre interests you most?

3 – Learn About Styles
Within the different genres of voiceover there are also different styles.  Learn about them in this video.  What style interests you most?

4 – Learn About Tone
It's essential to be able to adapt your tone to what each job requires.  Learn what that means in this video.

5 – Choose A Script
Once you've chosen a genre, your next step is to choose a script and start practicing!

6 – Learn What Producers Want
As a voiceover artist, your job is to make the Producer (and thus, the client) happy.  In this video, you'll learn the 7 things Producers want.

7, 8. 9 – Exercise Your Voice
In this section, I'll teach you my favorite warm-up exercises, help you learn to emphasize and enunciate, as well as show you how to increase your vocal versatility.

10, 11 – Create Character Voices
In this section, I'll teach you my best secrets- how to use your mouth and your body to create different character voices.

12, 13 – Control Your Tone; Meet Expectations
Controlling your tone takes a lot of intentionality!  I'll teach you some tips to control your tone in this video so that you can meet the expectations of your clients.

In this section, you'll learn how to set up your business, including your studio, your profile, recording your reel, and setting your rates.

18 – The Key to Developing a Great Voiceover Business
